Saddlestones

Saddlestones

Transforming a 1950s house into a modern spacious home.

The owner of this 1950s house in Tong was desperate for more light and space, but as it is situated in greenbelt land, the architects had to work with significant restrictions.

We were involved in the structural steel work design to ensure that two two-storey rear extensions and a two-storey side extension were permissible. We also designed steel frames to support large glass openings at the rear of the house.

The finished home was featured in The Yorkshire Post’s Lifestyle section.
